A Record-Breaking Opportunity for Miami Buyers and Sellers

The Indian Creek estate has hit the market asking a staggering 0 million, making it Miami-Dade County’s most expensive listing. This record-breaking opportunity is set to attract high-end buyers and sellers in the region.

That also makes it, by extension, among the priciest homes on the market in the U.S. The sellers of the nearly 28,000-square-foot home at 7 Indian Creek Island Road are Dr. Aaron Rollins, a cosmetic surgeon, and his wife, Marine Rollins, a real estate agent with Miami Global Realty, according to the Wall Street Journal. Dr. Rollins is a liposuction specialist, and the creator of AirSculpt, a body contouring procedure that involves fat removal. 

Jill, Danny and Hillary Hertzberg with the Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker Realty have the listing.

The Rollinses hired Ontario-based Ferris Rafauli to design the sprawling, waterfront compound, which is under construction. Plans for the mansion include nine bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, four half-bathrooms, spa facilities, a salon, theater, library, jazz lounge and a 1,500-gallon aquarium. The estate will also have a pool, a 135-foot dock and 200 feet of waterfront. 

They bought the property from singer-songwriter Julio Iglesias for $30 million in 2020. They also own a waterfront home in the Venetian Islands on a property they bought for $4.3 million in 2016.  

If it sells anywhere near the asking price, the Indian Creek estate would set a record for single-family home sales in Miami-Dade County. The current record was set in March when billionaire developer Vlad Doronin sold his Star Island estate in Miami Beach for $120 million. The Florida record for home sales was set in April when the billionaire DeGroote family sold their waterfront Naples estate for $225 million.

Indian Creek has seen its share of pricey deals and high-profile buyers. Billionaire Jeff Bezos dropped $234 million on a trio of homes on the island last year. In June, a vacant lot neighboring his property sold for $105 million. Known as the “Billionaire Bunker,” Indian Creek is also home to Tom Brady, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, DJ David Guetta, developer Jeffrey Soffer, and billionaires Carl Icahn and Eddie Lampert.

The Rollins’ estate is the latest trophy listing in South Florida’s booming ultra-luxury market. The pandemic triggered a massive wealth migration to the region that fueled demand for homes priced at $50 million or more. With the busy season approaching, the region’s most expensive homes are debuting on the market. Last week, an oceanfront teardown in Palm Beach hit the market asking $185 million. 

Spec developer Todd Glaser and his partners bought a 2.3-acre waterfront North Bay Road property for $105 million in July, which they have relisted for $169 million. They plan to build an estate asking $300 million.
