Savannah Guthrie Shows Off Eclectic Christmas Tree at $11 Million New York Townhouse—and It Even Has a Nod to Taylor Swift

Thanksgiving may be a busy time for “Today” host—and Macy’s parade emcee—Savannah Guthrie, but she still found time to inject some Christmas cheer into her Brooklyn Heights townhouse when she put up her very colorful tree.

The 53 year old took to Instagram to show off her magical Christmas tree, which was adorned in multi-colored lights and many eccentric ornaments, including a cheeky nod to popstar Taylor Swift.

She revealed she was more than ready to begin experiencing the holiday cheer, captioning her video, “It’s time,” alongside a Christmas tree emoji.

Her tree featured several unique ornaments, including one shaped like a Doritos bag, another shaped as a tin of caviar, and one that had the words, “Swiftie.”

There were also some sentimental baubles, such as photos of the Guthrie family.

The towering tree was topped off with a shimmering star and drew attention from her expansive living area, which featured a bookshelf, and high ceiling.

Fans rushed to the comments section and praised the TV anchor for her adorable tree and sentimental ornaments, with one social media user branding the conifer a “memory tree,” and another praising it as “so nice.”

Guthrie’s video also revealed a glimpse inside the elegant living room of her sprawling townhouse, where she has lived with her husband, Michael Feldman, and their children, Vale and Charley, since 2023.

According to records, Feldman and Guthrie shelled out $11.35 million for their new 4,500-square-foot abode, which features six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The family moved into the enormous dwelling after offloading their Tribeca apartment because they had a “vision and dream of living in a townhouse.”

Guthrie will have limited time to enjoy her home over the next few weeks, however, thanks to her busy festive schedule, which will kick off with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which she has hosted alongside her “Today” co-stars for several years.

She will then join her on-screen colleagues at the official Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting on Dec. 3.

Guthrie’s glimpse into her Christmas traditions come just weeks after she lifted the lid on her upbringing in the Arizona town of Tucson when she invited the morning show cameras to join her on a tour of her favorite places in the desert locale.

Guthrie, who graduated from the University of Arizona, introduced fans to her favorite restaurant and her sorority house, before visiting her mom, Nancy, who still lives in the same home that the reporter grew up in.

Ahead of the segment airing, Guthrie revealed the significance of her trip—and her desire to spotlight the many places in Tucson that helped her to become the person she is today, explaining to Tucson.com that she hoped locals would see the on-air tour as a touching tribute to their community.

“I think it’ll be a nice love letter to Tucson. That’s certainly the intent,” she said.

First up on that love letter tour? Securing her favorite Mexican food at local eatery Old Pueblo, which she joked is her “No. 1 priority” whenever she visits home.

The segment, which was filmed Oct. 17 and took about eight hours to complete, saw Guthrie traveling to Tucson and filing her days with several activities, including visiting her mom, which she said was “really cute.”

Guthrie noted that she and the crew had “this incredibly ambitious schedule” that began in Saguaro National Park and ended at the University of Arizona. They also stopped at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.

After filming wrapped, Guthrie hung back in Arizona to spend time with her family.
