Billionaire Russell Weiner Buying Stone Creek Ranch Mansion

Billionaire Rockstar Energy founder Russell Weiner is in contract to buy a Stone Creek Ranch mansion asking $20.9 million, The Real Deal has learned.

Weiner, who has invested heavily in South Florida’s luxury residential market, has a deal pending for the mansion at 16071 Quiet Vista Circle in Stone Creek Ranch, a gated community in unincorporated Palm Beach County near Delray Beach, a source confirmed.

Records show the seller is Wesley Hutchings, whose father James L. Hutchings founded xx-based S&H Fabricating and Engineering, which created air conditioning systems for General Motors, and Hutchings Automotive Products.

The deal comes weeks after actor, musician and entrepreneur Mark Wahlberg dropped $32.6 million on a mansion in the same neighborhood.

Talbot Sutter with Sutter & Nugent is representing both the buyer and the seller in Weiner’s deal. He declined to comment on the sale and declined to confirm the buyer.

Hutchings’ mother Barbara Jean Hutchings bought the 2.6-acre Stone Creek Ranch estate for $1.4 million in 2018, according to property records. She transferred the property to her son that year, and in 2021 he completed the 11,500-square-foot mansion, dubbed La Maison Blanche. It includes seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, full-size tennis and basketball courts, an in-ground trampoline, a wellness wing with spa facilities, a theater, pool house and a pool with a sculpture by the artist David Harber, according to the listing. Wesley Hutchings tapped Ellemar Builders as the contractor for the estate, and Affiniti Architects and Marc Michaels Interior Design as the design team.

The mansion first hit the market in 2023 asking $24 million. It returned to the market in July asking $23 million, and the price dropped to $20.9 million this month, according to Zillow. The deal went pending on Nov. 14, Zillow shows.

Weiner is a billionaire with a net worth of $5.4 billion, according to Forbes. He sold his energy drink company, Rockstar Energy, to PepsiCo in 2020 for $4 billion.

In August, he bought a $35.3 million waterfront mansion on Miami Beach’s Star Island. In October, he found a buyer for the 0.3-acre property at 5300 North Bay Road in Miami Beach that he had listed for $32.5 million. This summer, he filed suit against the project manager and general contractor of his $100 million-plus estate on Miami Beach’s Pine Tree Drive, alleging defective work.
